What are noun?

This slide show is about an activity that we had done in the ESL class. First Mrs. Raisdana share us a google doc that we had to type in what is the difference between abstract, concrete, common, compound and a proper noun. Then Mrs. Raisdana gave each of us three nouns, and mine's swimming pool, education, and air. She wants us to find picture about those three words in the flikr.com because it's safer. Then we will post those pictures and write about what types of nouns are they. Then when it's done we can put post it to our blog.

 

Making a movie

In English we are having a project about making a short movie. First we needed to find some comics that we want to use, then we will put each scene in the comic together. Now finally we can find some friends and tell them to be your actor. Now it's the hard part, because maybe your recording's speed doesn't match with your pictures so we needed to edit each of them carefully.

Welcome to Grammar! Writing samples...

In Grade 5  we had to do an Exhibition to go on to the MYP. I am really nervous when my teachers told us about it because I haven't been showing my work in front of that many peoples (the whole school). Our teachers had decided that this exhibition is going to be shown to people as presentation. So we started to practice it every day and we had even taken some other lessons time for this exhibition. Also in the exhibition we had to set up a booth for our group project.

Even I am nervous at first, but I'm not really nervous after we practice a lot with our teammates. When we are worried about what kind of samples that we are going to use, a rubber factory had had given us every kind of rubber that we had known including natural rubber and compound rubber (our group project is about rubber). In the exhibition day we are all not nervous because we had already practiced and worked a lot to prepare for this exhibition. Then when we had finished our presentation our teachers said that it's fantastic.     

Star Wars: The Clone Wars lightsaber battle

I post this video on to my blog because it is interesting and full of adventure. I also post this video on to my blog because I like to watch Star Wars and also this Star Wars video is in cartoon so it's more interesting. Also because it's in cartoon the characters move much faster then the real actors. That's also why it make the battle is really cool. After people watch this short video I think they will looking forward to watch the "real" movie.
