My Exhibition on Grade 5

 Previous version
In Grade 5  we had to do an Exhibition to go on to the MYP. I am really nervous when my teachers told us about it because I haven't been showing my work in front of that many peoples (the whole school). Our teachers had decided that this exhibition is going to be shown to people as presentation. So we started to practice it every day and we had even taken some other lessons time for this exhibition. Also in the exhibition we had to set up a booth for our group project.


Even I am nervous at first, but I'm not really nervous after we practice a lot with our teammates. When we are worried about what kind of samples that we are going to use, a rubber factory had had given us every kind of rubber that we had known including natural rubber and compound rubber (our group project is about rubber). In the exhibition day we are all not nervous because we had already practiced and worked a lot to prepare for this exhibition. Then when we had finished our presentation our teachers said that it's fantastic.

Lets make an Adverb Movie

This movie that I'm going to show you was about adverbs. The characters are a living pumpkin and a bear I wish you enjoy my movie.

Adverbs Reflection:

I used a movie maker website called "dvolver" to make this movie. First I wrote down a script that I am going to say for my character. Then I just copy the things on the script to the software on the website, after I am done I send it to mu gmail and put it into my laptop. Then I started to record my sounds and putting musics in. Finally I export it to Itunes. I had learned that adverbs are words that use to add information to adjectives, nouns, verbs and even other adverbs. I had learned adverb when making this movie by all the researching and reviewing I had done. I had enjoyed this project because it is the first time I had ever make a movie and "dvolver" is also very interesting.

What do I learned today?

Today In ESL class I leaned about compound, complex, and run-on sentences. Compound sentences are sentences that are out together by two simple sentences. One example was I like to play sports, but my brother was always reading books. A complex sentences was a sentence that includes independent clause and dependent clause. Independent clause was a part of complex sentences that still can be a simple sentences even it get split up. But dependent clause are parts that didn't make sense without independent clause. A example were when my mom came I quickly closed my game. A run-on sentence was a sentence that was usually too long or a sentence that is written incorrectly with two sentences. A example of that were follow me to the pet shop there were a cute bunny there.
